We stayed two days and felt very welcome by Sherry and her husband! The room was comfortable and the breakfast and snacks were so yummy! The table was set beautifully with old china cups and other pretty dishes! The house is older but I like the charm that it has! Thank you for making us feel right at home! So much better than staying in a regular hotel!! We will come again!

My husband and I stayed overnight to treat ourselves to a relaxing evening for our anniversary. We truly enjoyed our hosts and the house. Being January, it was a bit too cold to enjoy any of the outdoor spaces but, I hope to come back during nicer weather for another stay. Breakfast was a true delight! The homemade yogurt was absolutely delicious along with the pastries. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend a stay here!! Thanks again Keith and Sherry!!

We had to change dates, and the owners were very accommodating. They were communicative and welcoming. The house has an interesting history (narration by owner Keith). The rooms and woodwork are lovely. The bed was comfortable, and we rested well. Breakfast was light but plenty - just the way we like it (fruit, muffins, yogurt, beverages). Had our time been more flexible, we would have enjoyed a nice porch-sit.
Sherri and Keith are wonderful hosts. We were treated royally. My husband and I were so happy to have the full bed and breakfast experience. Sherri's breakfasts were perfect. It's a great house. Each bedroom has its own bathroom; it is well-located; clean and decorated beautifully; lovely garden. Couldn't ask for more!

Our group celebrated a birthday with a lovely tea party at the Delano Bed & Breakfast. What a delightful experience! A graceful old home and gardens filled with antiques and whimsical cottage decorations, beautiful antique glassware and table settings, and delicious, thoughtfully prepared food with cozy warm peach tea in charming tea cups…it was a such a fun afternoon. Our host was so gracious and friendly with an obvious passion for cooking and sharing the history of the home. Highly recommend!

My daughter and I stayed 2 nights prior and after the KC Chiefs game through Village Travel. The hosts were awesome and very cooperative with our late night return. The crepes for breakfast 😋 topped off a truly enjoyable stay!

We recently scheduled a tea party at the Delano Bed and Breakfast for the girls in our family including 4 ladies and 2 young children. Sherri prepared the most delicious foods for us even including many gluten free items for my daughter. The foods were served on delightful antique and charming dishes. It was such a lovely and memorable experience for us! Precious memories! We were given a tour of the lovely gardens and received a history of the home as well. Sherri is a sweet and very attentive host. I would highly recommend!

The Delano B&B is a comfortable and welcoming place to stay. The neighborhood is quiet and has a small-town feel, despite being in the city itself and easily accessible from major roadways. Sherri and Keith, our generous and considerate hosts, have put great work into an old and beautiful home. We'll definitely stay here again.
